Accounting Supervisor

CFO Rick is looking for an exceptional Accounting Supervisor to join our team! The Accounting supervisor will collaborate directly with the whole team, and report to the CEO. Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to, the following fundamentals:
  • Control and ensure the proper use of the organization’s financial and material resources.
  • Prepares the cash flow budget so that the company can carry out its operations without any setbacks.
  • Is responsible for the correct fulfillment of the company’s tax obligations, understands and applies in a precise manner the tax and legal regulations in force, and knows and applies in a precise manner the labor and social security laws of the country.
  • Responsible for coordinating all the activities of the personnel under their charge. They are responsible for maintaining communication with the firm’s clients.
  • Manage relations with authorities, clients, suppliers, and collaborators of the company.
  • Calculates taxes and prepares financial statements in accordance with the standards and technical provisions in force.
  • Is responsible for the control and timely payment of all financial commitments of the business unit under their responsibility (taxes, payroll, payments to suppliers, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax and Finance; preferably with a master’s degree in administration.
  • Verifiable experience as Business Unit Manager, general director, director of finance, accounting, auditing, or other related position.
  • Knowledge in business administration, tax, labor, social security, commercial and civil laws.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software or ERP, Quickbooks, SAP, etc.
  • Leadership skills, organized, proactive, accurate, punctual, orderly, disciplined, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create business strategies and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Native or bilingual command of English.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, particularly in handling time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management experience, with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment, taking initiative and ensuring project completion.
  • Willingness to work off-hour shifts and provide support during tax season.
